The Chair hand-picked delegates for the State Convention and excluded every single member of our newly elected slate as well as the members of the 139th and 135th slates.

From 2016 - 2026, under Mario Testa's leadership, the Bridgeport DTC has never voted on a budget. They have never voted on expenditures. So most town committee members have no idea that in the last decade, $22,282.50 of the party's money has gone to Testa's personal business!

On March 12, I attended my first Democratic Town Committee (DTC) representing my 130th district of Bridgeport. My first thought as I walked out of the meeting was: “This is NOT what democracy looks like.”

Just one week ago, we did what many thought was impossible. We mobilized 130th Democrats around a clear message of returning our party to the people - and WE WON!
