One week ago... WE DID IT!! 🙌🏽

Just one week ago, we did what many thought was impossible. We mobilized 130th Democrats around a clear message of returning our party to the people - and WE WON! 

Since then, we've heard from many of you. If our decisive win is possible in our neighborhoods in Bridgeport, what else is?

Our volunteers brought the Election Day energy to Black Rock School!

That is where YOU come in. We need you to keep the energy and momentum of our campaign going. We'll be calling on Democrats in our district and across Bridgeport to come together to help us enact our vision for:

• Quarterly “Meet The Democrats” community meetings to discuss priority issues;

• A public website updated regularly with contact information and ways to stay involved;

• A transparent and open process for recruiting and endorsing candidates;

• Strong representation at the citywide DTC meetings;

• Strong challenges to abuses of power at citywide DTC meetings;

• Ongoing activities that connect our neighborhood with local, state, and national issues

The first citywide DTC meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, March 12th at 5:30pm at Margaret Morton Government Center, 999 Broad Street, Bridgeport, CT. It is called the "organizational meeting" because at this meeting, all 90 DTC members will elect a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and the 10 District Leaders. 

It is open to the public, so we invite you to join us! The 130th has led the way over the years on standing up to corruption and standing for good government. None of us are beholden to "The Machine," so we will not sit idly by.

We will make sure YOUR voices and concerns are brought into the room. We will collaborate across districts with like-minded allies. And we work to make sure the rules and laws are followed.

Together, let's move the Bridgeport Democratic Party forward!
